My name is Brian Gaister and I am the Co-Founder of SaaS Ventures as well as a partner of the business. SaaS ventures is a capital firm that aids start-up enterprises especially in the tech industry. I am also a part of the multi-family office that assists families particularly those vested in private trade and real estate. As Co-Founder and CEO of Pennington Partners & Co., it is my responsibility to advise families who have successfully grown their net worth through investment. Hence, my participation in the investment committee of both SaaS Ventures and Pennington Partners & Co.
Early Life, Education, and Skills
I earned a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Robert H. Smith School of Business of the University of Maryland. Following my journey in tertiary education, I decided to pursue advanced knowledge training through acquiring accreditation certificates. I am both a Certified Private Wealth Advisor and a Certified Investment Management Analyst from the Investment Management Consultants Association in collaboration with big universities like Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Booth School of Business of the University of Chicago.
I rendered my full knowledge and expertise first at the Morgan and Stanley as a financial advisor. Then, I worked as a wealth management advisor for Merrill Lynch, a division of the Bank of America that focuses on wealth management. Under my supervision was about $600 million worth of assets and liabilities which were managed by a group. With my length of service from both companies, my roots have grown deeper as my learning broadened in the round and about of the industry. This has led me to start up my own company within two years.
My Willingness to Help Out Starters
Since October 2007, I have been a member of the Advisory Board of the Academy of Finance at Howard County in Maryland. This has shaped up my expertise which I am glad to share to anyone with eagerness, especially to people setting up their own company. Knowing the difficulties of establishing a business plus the hitches you encounter on the way, I have seen to it that I help out those that need assistance. Apart from that, I also am a part of the Nexus Global Youth Summit in New York which has molded my skills to becoming better as I fulfill the goal of bridging wealth and social entrepreneurs as a part of a holistic global movement.
I also have a sincere passion for helping the community. Hence, I chose to be a part of the economic council of the Jewish Community Service in Baltimore. Aside from those, I also offer my service to the Holocaust Museum Tribute Dinner and the economic committee for the Bender JCC of Greater Washington.
